Zumi had a feeling this weirdness was about to become a regular part of her life.
Well, Link never made anything dull, that much was for sure.
She knew Yammo's protective streak might make her want to give a warning rattle at Link for even hoping that Zumi would be up for sitting right down and getting to work, and she moved to cut that off at the pass.
"It'd be nice to come into town and know there's a familiar face waiting for me," she said. "And I'd at least like to meet her before you two disappear for the evening. So we'll do our best to get there before you have to leave. I can't promise I'll be able to come up with anything with so little time to get an idea of what I'm working with that she couldn't do just fine on her own, but I do want to meet her."
Then she looked at Yammo, giving her an affectionate grin. "But for both my safety and her sanity, you might want to have Miss Sword talk to Yammo and not me. I'm not sure that kind of heart attack that I would have no matter how much you tell me not to would be good for a pregnant woman to have. And I've already been told I'm going to make her go grey prematurely."
