Yammo had a feeling that one would come up, and she understood why Zumi wanted to leave an opening for Link to have even a distant connection to the child. Zumi had a deep-rooted sense of fairness, an admirable trait, and a good one for a mother to have, but it meant that she had trouble accepting when something wasn't fair, and nothing could be done to change it.
Which meant that it'd take a little work to help her accept this one, and Yammo had to take it gentle with her. So she raised her eyebrows slightly. "Without knowing if you would be staying at the stable, or on the much more dangerous road? And knowing that if it was the latter, you two would be parting ways? Most women stay with their donors until a pregnancy is confirmed. If you knew for certain you'd be staying at Serenne, that would work. But it won't with that uncertainty in there."
