Link looked back at Seldon, crossing his arms for want of something to do with them. "Believe me, that's a creepy disconnect on this side, too. I look at Tokk and can't believe he was this fourteen-year-old kid the day Zelda and I went up Mount Lanayru to the Spring up there."
He glanced back in the direction Zelda had disappeared through. "That was the last day anyone saw any of us Champions alive, actually," he said from somewhere in the past. "The others were killed by creations of Ganon that he'd used to take over the Beasts, and Zelda and I only made it as far as the fort."
Then he looked at Seldon again, trying to shut out the screaming silence in the back of his mind that became audible every time that last day came up for him, hiding it behind a deprecating grin. "Thank Hylia for incomprehensible Sheikah technology, right?"
