Link gave Bolson a look to back off and let the people who lived there have a discussion about the issue before he continued to add his two rupees, then looked at Zelda.
"As much as I'd normally be on your side with the 'more space' thing," he said, "keeping that room separate and using that as a kitchen means my work space for cooking isn't going to be one long line along the wall, with no corners to make it easier to get from counter to kamado to another counter. If I were just cooking for the two of us and nobody else, I'd suck it up, but you want Ivee and Sophie coming over occasionally, and I may end up having to cook for Zumi and Yammo now and again."
Then he squinted at her. "And maybe you've forgotten what the castle looks like from the outside, because there is nothing about that place that is one uniform square. Additional rooms and space that don't line up perfectly with something else shouldn't be offending your sense of aesthetics."
