Speaking of Link getting back, it was pushing that half hour mark that he said he would be back by before he arrived at the Myahm Agana Shrine's travel gate. The weather had turned cloudy while he was gone, which made him give the sky a dirty look.
It was bad enough that it'd been raining up in fucking Tarrey Town. At least he was wearing his hood, and it hadn't been a hard rain. So he wasn't coming home soaked, just a little damp and more than a little annoyed.
Stupid fucking weather.
But he was home, and hopefully the person he was doing all this for- including asking something of someone that was kind of a shitty thing to ask (although the additional level of ick to Zumi's story was her idea, and he'd've been happy to not include it) -was there, and hadn't wandered off to see someone else in town, for one reason or another.
Link didn't know if he expected Bolson and Karson to be lingering around outside still or not, but it still didn't surprise to see them up there. He waved to them, asked how the work was going, was informed that it was a good thing the renovations would require roof work, the roof was needing a full repair as it was, but they were almost done up there, so he and the queen wouldn't be hearing them walking around up there much longer.
After thanking them, he stepped in under the portico, taking off his hood and shaking the water off of it, before stepping in.
Zelda was sitting at the table, writing something or another; with her, it could be a number of things. He smiled before he could help himself, then raised his eyebrows, giving her a mock-stern squint. "You know, we've got to find you something other than writing to do, or your hand's going to develop a permanent cramp," he said, closing the door behind him.
