Leop's sketchbook- that he'd set down somewhere in the conversation without even noticing it -was open to the first page, which only had two lists, one longer than the other, and a vaguely rectangular shape scribbled to the side.
The longer list had a question mark written at the top, and a list of furniture that mostly resembled what the queen had told Bolson earlier, but had a few question marks by the 'end tables' entry.
The second list was much shorter, and was obviously of furniture items that were a non-negotiable must, under any circumstance. That list had 'bed' 'chests' and 'night stand,' and that was it. Leop hadn't put down 'lamp,' but only because lighting was Rhodes's department, and he figured it was a given that all parties knew it'd be there, the particulars of it was just in someone else's hands.
Since Bolson and Karson were only involved in this part as far as having provided the measurements, Leop took the other chair across from the queen, glancing at Bolson, silently asking him to get him a glass of water while he was getting his own. He bit back the urge to roll his eyes when Bolson immediately passed it to Karson and stepped around to stand over Leop's shoulder, like some sort of supervisor.
One thing was sure; nobody could say Bolson didn't know how to delegate.
"Bolson decided to remind me that he was tired," he said, turning the sketchbook for her to see, and glanced up at Bolson, who now looked offended, "though I don't think he realized that's what he was doing. He was a little vague about the number of some of the things you said you wanted. How much of that looks right?"
He gave Karson a quiet 'thank you' when he set down a glass for him.
