While the queen was talking, Leop was making his own mental measurements, as well as what suggestions he should give to Bolson regarding the arrangement of that extended cooking area, and how to fit it around a larger dining table without making anything feel cramped. He had some ideas, but he'd want to sit down with some paper and a pencil and argue with Bolson a bit.
The trunks, however, were easy, and didn't require consulting Bolson. He gave her an assuring smile. "Trunks I can do. If you want something with a custom design on the lid, that'd cost a little extra, but if you want that on only one, I'll do that for free. Consider it a 'welcome to the family' gift from the town. More than one, you wanted us to charge you just as fairly as we would others, so I'll have to ask Link to dig into that wallet of his."
That apparently has gone around town a bit.
"But in the meantime, if you want something that's in better shape than what it sounds like you've got, I can give you a couple, just to last you until I get something built that'll suit your needs more."
He squinted up at the upstairs bedroom, where Karson was still standing. Knowing him, he was probably sticking up there in case he needed to make another measurement he hadn't thought of that only Leop would need.
"You said about twelve feet, from to back up there?" At Karson's confirmation, he looked at the queen. "Bolson gave me a bit of a list of furniture you were wanting." He looked past her again at the dining table, spotting some paper and a pen that had writing of some sort on it. "I'm hoping that paper has the room dimensions I'm working with? If I can, I'd like a list of what you need the most. That space up there doesn't look the biggest to begin with, and Bolson said the ceiling up there's going to be sloped. I'm good at being creative, I just need to find out how creative I need to get."
