Link knew how Zelda would answer that, and he had something to of his own to point out to her, both related to the house and unrelated except by conversational tangent.
"Help yourself," he said. "And take your time, Greyson's got to have time to get from Tarrey Town from here to look at the stone work, so it'll be a couple days before you can even really get started."
He looked at Zelda, giving her an apologetic shrug. "I hadn't thought about the stone work when I hopped up there to get these two. We'll have to put up with this arrangement a couple days longer than we'd hoped."
Remembering that Zelda had put the dress from Sophie away upstairs already, he glanced up towards the loft, purely as a reflexive topic shift. "That dress was white, right? We'll want these two to take a little longer to hammer out ideas with Leop, unless you want to put your makeup on after you change. And that might not be a good idea. Not if you don't want to risk any getting on the dress. If it were dark-colored, we might be able to mask it, but that white will show anything and everything."
