Link knew that other than losing some space to the need for stairs in his room, most of the changes Zelda was discussing were going to impact her the most, and him relatively little. So he'd been happy to stay quiet and let her and the construction workers go over the plans.
He hadn't exactly tuned the conversation out, but he still found himself a bit caught off-guard by getting dragged in, and it left him blinking at her a couple times with a blank look on his face.
"Hm?" Blink blink. "Oh. Yeah, I did." He nodded towards the kitchenette in the corner. "That setup was barely big enough for one person, I'm going to need a lot more counter space and a bigger kamado to cook for two people, possibly more if she has her ladies over regularly."
He glanced up above his head towards the loft. "I was going to say to skip the inside window for my room, but Zelda said the magic words of 'increases security,' which pretty much won her that argument before it could decide if it was going to be an argument or not. I don't really have anything else going on with my room that needs fussed with, except moving that bookcase you put up there out. It's too wide to fit in there on that wall, and I don't want to just move it where it will cut into walking space. But that's for us to handle."
Oh, wait, that's right, that was what had come up in relation to the washroom.
"We weren't talking about moving anything in the washroom, I'm not sure how we'd even do that, with the piping, but we're going to need some place to store bigger things," he continued, looking back at the men. "We were thinking of expanding the washroom out to the end of the house and making that new extra space a storage room. We're going to need a bigger dining room table and more chairs anyway, but we don't want to overcrowd the area down here. Having an extra storage space would let us keep extra chairs when we don't have people over."
He glanced at the weapons mounts. "And as much as I appreciate the work that went into them, I really don't need all of those weapon mounts, not all up at once. The three big ones for melee weapons, yes, but I only need one shield mount and one bow mount. We're keeping our friends' weapons on them, and only Urbosa and Revali had anything beyond a melee weapon. They're nice, and I don't want to get rid of them, but expanding my cooking area is going to crowd out wall space. The extra storage room means I have a place to put those."
