Link rolled his eyes. "Believe me, I'm not interested in getting caught up in conversation with them. I'm too tired to be conversational. Words and I don't do well when I'm tired." Pause. "More than normal."
He stopped at the door long enough to look back at her. "Don't fall right to sleep, I don't want to keep you up by washing the dishes."
And on out the door.
Once outside, he cracked his neck, sighing. "I know you can contact him," he said quietly to the Sword, "so if you'd do me a favor and tell the Deku Tree that he needs to tell the Koroks they're not to mention Zumi's baby when I bring Zelda there?" He doubted he'd have a chance to get out there again on his own without stealing hours from his only chance to sleep.
Of course, Master Link, the Sword said. Shall I update him regarding the status of the child's parentage?
He made a tired sound as he walked over to the bridge, dumping the mostly-finished, now-cold fish off the edge, into the water below. "Eat your brethren," he told the fish that lived in it. "It'd make your message make more sense," he said, the last part to the Sword.
I concur. If I may make a suggestion, perhaps you should simply go to sleep? I confirm with a 100% certainty that Mister Bolson and his employee Karson are safely in town.
Link was silent for a moment, not even sure he processed what she said, staring down at the quiet waters of Firly Pond.
"Hm? Oh, okay. Yeah, not a bad idea."
Man, he must be really tired.
Back inside, then.
"The Sword decided to helpfully tell me after was outside that she could confirm they were in town just fine," he said upon stepping back in. "So nice of her to tell me she could do this earlier."
