Link looked over, staring at his door in confusion. He'd... never heard someone knocking on his door. He was gone when people had been gathering at the house the morning before, and that was the first morning anyone had known he was living there.
Well, outside of Bolson and Karson, but they apparently hadn't said anything, if the townsfolk hadn't known. The second either of them had said someone was living at the old house, it would've been all over town.
He looked at Zelda blankly, wondering if maybe he'd imagined it, but her face didn't look like she was questioning his sanity.
Well. All right. Guess it's back to that whole hospitality thing.
He set his fork down and got up, staring at the door like it was an alarmingly confusing thing as he walked up to it.
It was Ivee outside, and while Link hadn't even been able to contemplate who might actually be knocking on his door, he found himself very unsurprised to see it was her.
"Yes?"
He sounded like he was asking her what she wanted as much as asking her if he said the right thing. He hadn't had to answer his door since before the Calamity, and the appropriate etiquette for that wasn't one of the things that had come back yet.
