"Too bad I don't love it," Link said setting the Slate down on the table and retrieving the shopping bag that he'd just barely remembered to put back into the Slate on their way out of the fitting room. "It is doomed to remain unrequited forever. I am no happier getting wet than a cat is."
They'd left the clothes with Sophie, since they probably needed cinching in, but the makeup and jewelry was still in there. He started unloading the prizes he picked up in the desert for her.
"The only thing I didn't get you when I was in town was hair clips," he said, setting the jewelry boxes with the necklaces and bracelet on the table for her. "But the Sword recommended waiting on those until your hair stylist had a chance to decide what she needed. Whom I tracked down, by the way."
