There was that theatric tiredness again. "I don't know him, but I have figured out how business people work, and no, I don't think he would've let me get away with walking out the door without dumping rupees on the counter for him. I would just prefer to not have to be reminded on my way out said door."
Then he shrugged helplessly. "I could do it now, if you ladies really want me to," he said. "I'd rather do it back at my house, just because the table's more accessible to seating. I'm not going to make Zelda stand while she gets makeup put on her. And Sophie's table doesn't look like it'd move close enough to the mirrors to set everything down while I'm doing this anyway."
So much for that 'hide in that not-bedroom for awhile' break he was going to take. Good thing that talking to the Trouble Trio had put him in a better mood than he had been when he got into town, or he might be put out by it.
