Link ([info]sleepinghero) wrote in [info]kingdomofruin,
Link shook his head. "No, nothing cataclysmic, anyway," he said. Then gave him an ornery grin. "We'll warn you if the kingdom's about to explode again."

At the weary look that earned him, he shrugged. "No, nothing bad. I just had to clear the roads between Hateno and Akkala before we could do anything. The house we're staying in was fine when it was just me, but it's not made for two people, and Zelda really should have a place she can go home to and sleep without having to try to share a place that has no privacy with someone else. That'd only cause unnecessary stress and make it hard to conduct business. There's a guy from Hateno who does construction work, but he was in Tarrey Town for a wedding. I decided to clear the way for him so he can get back safely. He'll be there some time tonight, then we were going to argue with him all morning about how to fix the housing situation, then we'll be here in the afternoon."

You'd never know that not thirty seconds ago, this guy was so lost in yesteryear that no map was big enough to navigate him home. It just looked like Business As Usual here.
