Even if Link wanted to, he wouldn't bother. Sidon was just enough like his sister that he'd be outstubborning a wall that laughed in the face of a cannon.

That's a steep cliff, and I'm not sure my paraglider would hold up to having you hitching a ride with me that way. Zelda will probably try to bully me into taking her up with me, but she's a helluva lot lighter than you, I've got a better chance at getting her up there with me."
