Link had been hoping that one might sneak past her, but he wasn't really surprised that it hadn't. "I was," he said. Then he grimaced, not wanting to continue that thought. "On my end, anyway."
He looked at them, quickly adding, "and I may be wrong about her. It's been a hundred years, and I may have been sleeping that whole time, but she wasn't. Long time for her to change her stance on it."
Sigh. "Just not quite willing to take the chance that the years didn't change anything and ask her to have the mother of what would be considered my illegitimate child right under foot and up in her personal business. I can't do that to her."
