Ivee rinsed the last pan and set it on the rack. "If he heard any of what you told me went on with 'handsy' people harassing the servants, I don't blame him," she said, disgust dripping from the word 'handsy'. "If he never got in trouble for hitting someone for it, he's got more self-control than I do. Or is better at covering up crimes, one of the two."
She grabbed a towel and turned back to her, drying her hands. "This may sound bad, because they're what you knew, and it's gotta be mighty lonely, being the only one left from them, but I'm glad they're gone and you're out here with us. Seems to me you're safer out here. Nobody would think they have right to your body and try to paw at you. Not anyone here in town, anyway. Anyone who tried, if they managed to get past Link, they'd be dealing with the rest of us, and most of us are skilled with pitchforks and/or blunt objects."
