"They are," Ivee agreed, although the agreement was a bit distracted, trying to figure out this mystery presented to her, because trying to reconcile what the queen was describing with the generally good-natured and easy-going Link she'd known going through and around town all the time was like trying to figure out what the ocean and a tree had in common. Besides the fact that they were both natural features, there wasn't much.
"That seems like an extra layer of confusing, though," she said. "'Course, I don't get the impression he was having more than skin deep interactions with any of us, so I'm not sure how good of a judge of this I am. But he lost all of his memories, didn't he?"
She shrugged. "I have no idea how to begin to understand what that must do to a person's brain. It might just be taking some time for it to all settle down in his head. And with Hyrule's fate in the balance, I can't imagine he's taken a lot of time to sit down and think Deep Thoughts and figure whatever it is all out before now."
She stood up, gathering up Sohpie's bowl that she'd given up on and pushed aside, as well as her own. "With that in mind, I'd say give him a bit of time, at least on this issue. But if he doesn't stop being pissy at you in general, sic me on 'im. I'll get my broom and take it to his skull a few times. You don't treat your friends like that."
