That was about when Sophie walked back into the room, pausing as she went wide-eyed. "I forgot all about the rice," she said. "I guess it's a good thing Dad doesn't care for it in his soup much."
She gave the queen a smile, some of that nervousness coming back into play, now that she wasn't surrounded by her work. "It more filling with the rice, though. I think it tastes better."
