Zelda grinned, looked back over her shoulder at Sophie for a moment, then very quietly padded into the kitchen, one soft, slow step at a time, never taking her eyes off Ivee's back as she made her approach.
She kept the hand closest to Sophie outreached behind her to signal when to stop walking. She wasn't going to get too close, lest anything or anyone get spilled on or burnt. A prank was never funny if anyone got hurt in the process or if something was ruined.
And when she was at least two steps back from Ivee, Zelda raised her hand higher, giving the signal to stop, stopping as well.
"Smells good!" she said loudly, announcing their arrival that way.
