Sophie shook her head vehemently at the mention of a corset going as small as a twenty, much less smaller. "I know you'll have less reason to opt against a corset than anyone around here does, but I know what those things do to your insides. I asked Uma once when I was little, looking at pictures of women in the extremely tight corsets, how it was possible, and she went into great detail about how it rearranges your organs. I couldn't in good conscience make anything that tight for someone."
She tilted her head, looking at the figure sketch. "A relaxed fit corset wouldn't be inappropriate, though. At least for nicer wear, depending on what it's being worn for." She glanced back at the dress that was sitting on the counter. "I think if you went with that general style for daily wear, you'd be much better off just skipping the corset entirely. That cut isn't the best for corsets anyway, and I can't see a corset being practical on a daily basis in a little village like this. Too much chance that even you might have to get your hands dirty."
She gave the queen an apologetic look. "Maybe once the village gets bigger, that's not something that'll happen, but every now and then we have something that requires every set of hands attached to everyone who's not infirm or a young child pitch in."
