Sophie was wide-eyed for a moment, taking the time to bring her heart rate back under control, before she sighed dejectedly. "I knew there was a reason I stopped doing anything in my book during business hours."
She peered over at the queen, past her to the door, then to Ivee, before stepping forward, putting her back towards the back of the shop. Ivee had the front door managed for her, but she just didn't like having her back to the door more than strictly necessary.
"I did have a question, though," she said. "Why did you specify which gemstones had to be used with which outfit? Is that because of traditions those tribes have?"
