"Not quite," Zelda said, still grinning. "What I want you to do is design something new. The old noble class is gone, all the old leaders in trendsetting and style are gone. That means it's a blank slate for new designs, new fashion, new styles. I do need outfits that would be suitable for a high court, for when I do business, especially with other leaders. As far as custom-designed court gowns go, I need four. Well, three. Three dresses, one pantsuit. One for hot desert climates, one for cold weather, when I visit the Rito, and a third dress I'd like in shades of blues and greens and aquamarine, take inspiration from waterfalls and pools for this, for when I go to Zora's Domain. The pantsuit, I would like something close-fitted, no frills, nothing to flutter away into a stream of hot air or get caught up on a hot rock, for when I visit the Gorons. I'll ask Link to get the gemstones needed for embellishments. The pantsuit will need diamonds, the desert dress will need sapphires, and the cold weather dress will need rubies."
She walked over to the dresses hanging by the wall. "Don't worry about jewelry, like necklaces and such. We'll have someone from the Gerudo work on those. For less formal ventures, I'll take three of this style gown, and we'll talk about ways to modify them to suit me better." She held up a long dress with three-quarter sleeves and a sweetheart neckline.
At that, she turned back to Sophie to see what kind of reaction the woman had at the request.
