"Well, Link's a very highly trained knight, so he's also bringing combat expertise and strategy to the table. I'm not really sure what other skills and knowledge he might have, because trying to get him to talk about himself is like trying to eat soup with a fork. Most of my own schooling was fairly basic, and I don't think there's much call for information knowing the proper activities for young ladies, which include needlepoint, musical instruments, and the proper way to serve tea. Moving past that, I've got technology, and a million failed ways to unseal powers."
Zelda sipped her water. "Oh, and how to run a court. I know how to do that. I'm just a font of useful skills and knowledge, aren't I?" she asked with a self-depreciating smirk. "Especially since Link said there wouldn't be any interest in returning to the old ways of the court and noble classes. He couldn't stand any of it, and doesn't want that to come back, and I guess everybody's gotten along just fine, as you've said, a hundred years without someone on the throne."
She bit back a frustrated sigh. "I should be asking you for knowledge, not the other way around. I've not a clue on how to rebuild Hyrule as its queen without delving into the noble class structure. So I'm glad Link presented the circlet when he did for Tokk to witness. If there's no throne except perhaps in only a figurative sense, then it's rather silly to have an actual crown."
She shook her head. "But I don't mean to dump all that on you, and the morning's getting late."
