Ivee was always outside the shop, usually busying herself with sweeping the walk outside the store front, which really didn't need done, not every day, and not to the extent she did it, but it put her close enough to where Amira and Nikki habitually set up shop that she could listen in, and as long as she looked busy, they didn't notice her listening in to see if they were actually saying anything useful that day.
But the first couple hours after the shop opened had her a bit more all over, doing actual chores for upkeep of the building and the property it sat on, so she actually hadn't been in immediate view when the queen first went into the store. She'd heard the door open and shut, but other than the queen, nobody there in town was so new that they would be surprised to not see her at that hour, so she hadn't worried that the customer was anyone she needed to greet.
In her defense, as much as it was hard to forget that there was a queen living practically next door, she still wasn't used to there being someone so new to town that this routine wasn't known to them.
She poked her head around the corner of the building, having been up on the walkway that wrapped around the east side of the store, consolidating the partly-filled rain water jugs into one full one. "Hm?" She blinked, owl-eyed at the queen. "Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't see you go in! Tell him just a second, would you please? I have to finish with the water jugs, then I'll be right there!"
