"You do need the basic schooling before moving on to studying more advanced science, so work hard in school even if it doesn't seem as neat. It will serve you well later on," Zelda told Teebo. "A good scientist is well-rounded and can do writing and math alike, and needs both of them in their work. History is important too, because without knowing what came before, there's no way to know what has already been tried and how. So listen to your father and stay in school until he says you're ready to move on. And that might not be when you finish grade school, it might be later than that. Because a lot of being a scientist is learning things. And not all of it's fun. Research can be very boring. But we do it because we love learning the outcome. You need more schooling than the average person if you want to be a scientist. Does it still seem appealing to you?"
