Medda wanted a way around that- it just didn't seem right! He chewed on the inside of his lip a bit while he looked around for Leop. "Lemme talk to the boss. We're supposed to give a bit of a discount to newcomers who are brand new, not movin' in with someone already here, but we haven't had anyone like that since I took up apprenticin'. You'll hafta talk to him, see what's goin' on."
"If- if you don't m-mind me asking," Tamana said, timid as ever. "I know th-this is terribly rude, but- but with the c-castle gone, and-and no taxes, how are you an-and Link going to m-make a living?"
She glanced at the disapproving looks she was getting. "W-well, it's not right f-for the qu-queen to ha-have to farm. I- I just, ju-just wanna know i-if we need t-to come up w-with somethin' f-for her, h-help her out. 'S what w-we do for n-new people, right?"
That got the others to start looking at each other and agreeing, that was something they did for new residents, and she's right- you don't ask the queen to farm.
