Ralera brightened. "Crab risotto," she said. "I make mine with ironshell crabs, right from my hometown."
She started to follow along with Zelda and Kass, but her husband put a hand on her shoulder.
"We'll talk more proper once everyone's here," he said, as much to Zelda as to his wife. "Nice meeting you, meet you more in a bit."
There was definitely something very strange going on, but he knew Clavia, he'd grown up with her, and he knew the customs of the town. When the head's wife was stalling off questions, that meant to be quiet, they'd all be told soon enough.
