She let Link go on at his own pace, turning and heading back down the path to where Pruce was still standing, waiting for her. "He's just checking on a couple things," she told him, nodding in greeting to Leop. Once the furniture maker had left earshot, she lowered her voice. "It sounds like our queen won't know what to do with us any more than we know what to do with her. Link says she was never really allowed to see people without hearing her father's verbal abuse getting hurled at her."
