Keys to Wonderland

Hello Everyone! And Welcome to 'Keys to Wonderland'
I am Thirteen, your first mostly friendly neighborhood moderator. ;p
First a little about me for those that don't already know; I am a psychology major looking into criminal psychology as a career but finding myself head deep in Theatre. Heh. I work for the Theatre department at my college and mostly do lighting. ^_^ I work at fan conventions, cosplay and run around with an Acting Troope. I'm just a nerd really.

Now for my characters:
Currently, I play Maddison Hatter, the son of the former Mad Hatter in the age of legends. He is, well, mad. After the death of his father he spiraled ever further into it and often losses himself in his 'special' teas. He is the official owner of the Tea House, though he relies on his workers to keep track of things.
His powers are Temporal Manipulation- due to the curse placed on the Tea party by Time initially. And Hat Trick- in which he must have a hat to do his minor tricks, mostly he uses it as a Mary Poppin's bag though even he doesn't know what really is inside there.
He is flirtatious, crazy, sometimes rude, distracted by tea, childish and when lucid he's very angry or sad- so he tries not to allow that to happen often.

I also play Darian Dymond, rarediamond Knave of Diamonds, son to the Duchess and Duke of Diamonds. As far as he is aware his father died in the Chess war and in his will said he wanted all five of his kids killed as well. He was also forced to give up his rights as the heir to the Duke's seat and any property, etc he could have had. He fought in the war also, found what the Queen had done so disgusting that he was embarassed to be a Diamond. Finding his way into the Rebellion, he acts as a spy for them while running a pub that secretly holds a safehouse underneath it.

Darian's diamond affinities are that of Placation and Harm. His mother was capable of all four while his father had a strong ability in harm which ended up with him having two affinities. You can read how they work at his bio.

Greetings and salutations, fellow players! I'm Jill, the second (possibly even secondary) mod-modkins, and I'm excited for the opportunity to play with everyone here. For those of you who don't know me, I'm in my early thirties, am married with three cats, and have a minor addiction to Mountain Dew. I work for a mutual fund trading agency, it's highly boring, and when I'm not annoying Thirteen I'm a fan of reblogging random crap on my Tumblr.

The giddy little kitten you see in the icon is Chessica Von Cheshire, aka the Cheshire Cat. She might just be the most frighteningly lucid of the so-called mad crew, which you can take however you like. She enjoys people-watching, naps, bothering Hare and Hatter, and fomenting rebellion in her own special way. Chess is a friendly cat, and usually doesn't attempt to eat any small animals who can plead their case.

I plan on bringing in two others soon enough as seen on the 'Holds' page, and if anyone feels like plotting with me my contact info is on my application. I suggest emailing or gchatting since unless I'm indisposed/sleeping my phone is typically within reach.

I'm K. In case you haven't met me, I'm currently all of nineteen years old, studying English as a major and minoring in Paralegal studies. I have an addiction to all black everything, and a penchant for jewelry that looks like it could take someone's eye out. :L I also like to write, obviously. And I like reading stuff by Kafka, Lovecraft, and Poe.

Is your Queen of Hearts. Insane, beautiful, bitchy, horror of all horrors, and very likely to scream death sentences for next to no reason at all. Talk out of turn? Off with your head. Accidentally hiccup? Off with your head. Breathe incorrectly? Off with your head, and you should know better. :| She enjoys nothing but croquet and threatening to kill people. It doesn't even matter if they actually die- she tends to forget people exist, but she's rather contented to just have them pissing themselves with fear. Because that's how she works. Oh, and her husband. She rather likes him. Ahem. One can only hope for fucktons of drama with this one, and I know she's going to get it- being that she's pretty screwed in the head and all. She's forever young, and also expects people to tell her how beautiful she is- after they're done quivering in her presence, that is.

Is Little Byron. Yes that's his actual name. He thinks it is full of fuck, too. He's your friendly neighborhood piggy-type grocer, and can't see worth two shits, but could smell you coming from a mile away. So take a shower, gdi. He's been picked on his whole life for being tiny compared to his siblings (with one exception), kind of a weakling, and just being sort of an easy target. He's really a sweetheart, but he's sort of messy, and would probably eat you out of house and home, given half the chance. He can't exactly help it. He's got a lot of quirks and tends to get defensive rather quickly. Still, though. He tries to be nice to people, as long as they're kind to him.

Hello, everyone! This is going to be very quick (hopefully) because today is a super busy after work day for me. So - me: I'm old, very tall, have three cats and live by myself. I lovelovelove all things horror, Lovecraft, Poe, Gaiman, Murakami, Junji Ito & Otsuichi. I also love and adore drag queens. And glitter. And Wonderland. Of (relative) importance - I bring you my only character right now: Lucien Gray (I swear has nothing to do with Dorian Gray, was just the name Miri and I liked best and agreed on lol)♠ your Duke of Spades. Unhappily & arrangedly married to Miri's smoking hot Duchess. He's super strong and can break you with his hands. He's silent, uses intimidation for things but not unkind. Though he's not super thrilled about being married to the Duchess, he doesn't like anyone saying anything bad about her. Does pretty much what is expected of him and doesn't think for himself very often - takes family, duty, honor way too seriously. Definitely a Queen's man, because he has to be. His app is more coherent and found here.

I accept all the plot with open arms & will try and respond to everyone's posts later. Even if it's just to attack with love.

I'm a teacher and bartender (some combination I know). I really don't know what to say about me!

Right now I play March Hare, or Patrick Marches madnessreigns and the King of Hearts under this journal.

The March Hare has his days of sanity and his days of INsanity, just as you would predict. He fixes watches at the treashop, but be warned, on his off days, they tend to come out worse and smelling like jam or butter.

The King loves to host parties, for all of Wonderland, he doesn't care!!!

Alright, an ooc post was demanded, so voila.

This is The Dormouse. Well, not The Dormouse from the stories, but his nephew. And since his Uncle is missing presumed dead and his mother is now living her life fully in dormouse form, he is, for all intents and purposes The Dormouse. Which is good because he sometimes forgets the human moniker he chose for himself (he was born in his dormouse form you see). Siska Dormer is the name he goes by in humanoid form -when he remembers - but people he hasn't properly introduced to would just know him as the Dormouse. And I just rambled for a paragraph about his name.

Anyway. He works at the Tea House, is narcoleptic, meaning he will fall asleep at any given time and place without warning, has sometimes prophetic dreams, is addicted to pills and things, is the master of the non-sequitor, hates cats and predatory birds (and predators in general), also hates the queen but keeps that to himself, draws on any surface he can, seems half asleep much of the time but is actually very sharp of mind, takes his tea with cream and treacle, and climbs trees a lot, as dormice are want to do.

So that's The Dormouse. Available for plotting and scening (once things start) and all of that jazz.
