Delyria admired the glasses as the light danced against the gold spirals. "Very nice," she purred, tilting her head slightly to one side. She should have put a touch more gold in her hair, but she hadn't wanted to overshadow the ruby. Gold was just so much more sparkly than ruby, that was a fact. So, for the sake of the theme of celebration, she had dusted on more ruby and dialed back the gold. A touch. She picked up her glass and tapped it lightly against her son's. "Cheers, darling."
The wine was delicious and rolled right over the tongue. She took a sip and placed the glass back on the counter. "So. What have you been up to?" She doubted he'd tell her. It was a pity mind reading didn't come with being a Diamond.
