Ariel frowned a tiny bit at the question, bruw furrowing. He nearly asked 'why would they be poisoned?' but then, there were many people in the world who were cruel, and he knew that well. It pained him often, but he was aware of it. So instead he shook his head in a slow manner, hair swishing around his shoulders.
"No," he replied. "It's just a cookie." The Unicorn opened the basket and took out a paper box of them, opening that box and taking one out. They were cinnamon swirl cookies, soft and moist and just the right amount of crumbly.
"They don't do anything at all - except taste good. I hope," he added, the frown easily disappearing, a smile coming in it's place. To demonstrate, and perhaps to prove the cookies were not poison or magical in nature, he took a bite. "See?"
