Ariel took the formality in stride. He didn't see much of it, it was true, but then, this was Wonderland, and it was hard to be taken by surprise. Or perhaps it was better said that surprise came in different forms. Either way, he smiled at the young man who came in bowing and removing his hat (well, he did enjoy that big of politeness!).
"Pleased to meet you," he said, running that mouthful of a name over in his mind once or twice, so that it didn't go in one each and out the other. That was a lot of letters.
"I am Ariel Templeton. This is my shop." He smiled a warm smile and gestured around with a slim hand. There were various garments displayed, dresses and suits, coats and shirts, and various other things. Those things he had made, not for a particular customer, but because the ideas had come to him.
"I have a number of items that are for sale, ready-made. And I also do custom work, to make things to suit a particular customer." A pause, and then he continued with, "What were you looking for today? Shirts, trousers, coats, suits..." He rattled off a variety of possibilities.
