Ariel saw this change in colour, but on this occasion, he couldn't quite figure out what it meant. He guessed the darkening colour wasn't a response to happiness but rather something on the opposite end of the spectrum, but he couldn't figure out why.

Turning, the Unicorn set the fabric on a smooth table top for the moment, although his hands missed the touch of it. "Storm!" he exclaimed. "I can't just take it from you. It's beautiful work. You should take something in return." He had fully been planning to pay for the fabric after all!
