"It always sews like a dream," Ariel said, letting his fingers swish back and forth. He loved textures and touch, the way things felt against his skin. All sorts of things - sunshine, soft grass, cool crisp sheets, swishy water, but especially lovely fabrics.
Amazement entered his gaze as he watched the colour begin to bloom. Small patches at first, that grew and became more vivid, like paint stretching across a once plain canvas. In the end, the entire thing was a myriad of colours, ever shifting in response to any changes in temperature.
"Storm, that's amazing!" he exclaimed as he pushed his fingers further out to watch more of the golden-yellow colour grow. "Goodness, can you imagine this as a dress?" Something fitted in the best and torso and then spilling out long to the grojund, very drapy and flowy. With patches of colours that shifted and grew - it would be amazing. Perhaps with a tailed coat to match, for the gentleman who would escort the lady (or a lady to escort another lady, Ariel never discriminated in such manners). And maybe a hat or fascinator to match!
"It's beautiful," he said with awe in his voice. "You are very talented."
