After he'd come back, she finished off stretching out and came back up to the couch to settle herself against him, leaning her head against his shoulder. Peaceful now that she was against him, she tucked her knees up so that her legs could rest against his as well. "Missed you." She murmured softly, pressing a soft kiss against his shoulder. She really wanted him to get another job, just so they could spend more time together.
Getting comfortable against him, she smiled and traced his leg lightly with her fingertips. She didn't bring up the scent he might have caught, not really wanting to talk about it. No reason really, she just wanted to ignore it. Didn't want to think about Landon and wanted to pretend that all he was was, indeed, a friend. And as far as she was concerned, that was all there was between the two of them. He was a friend and nothing more. She loved Aidrian, she would always love him and there was nothing in the world that could change that.
