Aidrian let himself into the apartment, utterly glad to be home. If Tom had said one more thing to him, there'd have been bloodshed. As it was he could feel the tension coiled in his muscles, a buildup from the entire shift. A little of it eased as he stepped inside, Andi's scent reaching his nose, and he spotted her on the couch.
He paused for a moment, staying quiet and studied her. Tired, coming down from being tense herself, but still beautiful. He frowned slightly, picking up the barest hint of a male scent he didn't recognize. Puzzled, he quietly slipped his shoes off and moved to kiss her forehead before turning to head for a shower. The familiar scent of her shampoo told him she'd already had one.
