I'm not sure what's going on, but I am sure that dinosaurs are always a terrible idea. I know because pop culture has taught me this.

I already ruled this out as hallucination, mind control dream, or some form of hysteria, so now I'm just leaning toward insane, but officially not my brand of insane, and therefor not my fault.

So, who's running this joint? Please tell me it's not a T-Rex. Or actually, tell me it was, it'd make my day better.

Insanity is relative. There seem to be a few people here who don't find this all that unnerving.

Well now I'm unsettled.

Probably better than you were the last time I saw you.

I suppose that is true, given that I had to be well into my eighties at that point.

so. I managed not to murder Howard out of a fit of frustration at his sheer idiocy? Amazing.

Something like that. There was a lot of white hair.

No, he lived hale and hearty so he could crash his car. Murder by you would have had more panache at least.

I'm sure it looked wonderfully dignified.

Oh, Howard. That does sound like something he'd end up doing. Reckless little moron. Murder would have probably been preferred. Far more dramatic. He would have adored all of the theatrics surrounding it. A perfect sendoff.

You pulled it off.

Less of the dramatics toward the end, but we weren't exactly close knit.

I'm sorry. I hate to say that I don't find that surprising. Howard was never good at... people. Unless he was pretending.

Long time ago and water under the bridge. No need for sorry.

Long time ago for you, perhaps, but it's entirely new information for me. I can be sorry all I like for Howard's inability to be human with the one person who probably really needed him to be.

I got what I needed. He left me the company.

I doubt I have to tell you how incredibly sad that sounds.

Well I have a lot of money and a big building so generally sad isn't the first reaction.

Generally, the people reacting wouldn't care about anything beyond that.

Most people don't. But hey, let's just say we knew different versions. I had the late model, you had the early one.

We also had different perspectives. His grating inattention to how normal people interact was something I could overlook as a personality flaw. You didn't have that privilege.

Well normal isn't in my wheelhouse anyway.
