	You can never have enough vacation. Gods, are they tinkerers. It's actually really frightening what they can manage. I don't understand 150% of what they're saying most of the time. 	Well, he's human, and he's like... fifty, so I think Dad is definitely an appropriate way of putting it. And there's been plenty of that, too. Just to a lesser degree than normal. No brawls involved this time. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He's a very good fake dad. He has several fake children to show for it. And one real one who hasn't actually shown up yet. Honest! Granted, I think they've not really been involved in any of the adopting yet. Scanlan's only been here about two months to most of our 8 to 9. Honestly, it's not like we all have the best examples to gauge these things on, but I can say, without a doubt, he's leaps and bounds above my father. And the rest of them are pretty cool, too. You'll love them. And I know they'll love you.

God, that would be just what we need. Grog with a pet dinosaur.

We haven't really talked. I've mostly been avoiding him. I'm not... bad with him. I guess. I'm still a little hurt, but he's been trying. You know, as much as Scanlan can while still being Scanlan.
