Is Memorial Day another holiday where we can get away with eating a load of junk food? I don't know any of these holidays, we didn't have them back home.

	Memorial Day is supposed to be a day of somber reflection over the lives of soldiers lost in combat. Of course, for most people, it's just the day the family gets together and has a massive start of the summer cookout. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Most people don't know. Don't feel bad. It's confused pretty often with Veteran's Day, which is for living service personnel. No idea. I'm sure we could throw something together. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
