It's not easy to explain. Everything always seems like a bit of a simplification. But I guess, put simply, I can persuade people into seeing things my way. Or rather, wanting things my way.

I guess people just feel wrong to me like this. When you're so used to being able to feel everyone around you, the blank void of nothingness across a phone line is just off-putting.

I don't know you. I'm not going to assume you're awful just because you have a certain power.

But the other time I'm talking about...it was pretty traumatic. It took me weeks to get my head on straight. He made me hurt people. And kill people. I was willing to die for him. It was...really not good. I'm not sure I'd be able to feel something similar to that, even unintentionally, without having flashbacks. And the last time I got set off there was a literal earthquake.
