Perhaps he was cursed. It seemed like the moment Tary had mentioned one of Percy's lovers (who may or may not wish to kill him) one walked through the door. He was torn for a moment between whether or not he should jump away from Percy and attempt to act natural but had found himself glued to the spot givng Vax plenty of time to look up and see them. If he was expecting to be met with anger or, perhaps, a dagger to the back of the head it never happened. Instead Vax just seemed to smile and hurry to rush out of the room and out of the way. He didn't even say anything that would draw attention to the fact that they had been kissing only moments ago and were still incredibly close to one another. So, while Tary was embarassed, he wasn't as embarassed as he could have been. Or scared. It seemed like the best sort of reaction he could hope for from any of them. He was sure, however, that the reaction would've been different if they'd been found by Vex. She still didn't like him. Vax, at least, seemed less likely to kill him on the spot even if he'd very nearly done it once before.
He was still a little dumbfounded as he watched the dark haired rogue try and make himself as scarce as possible. He moved quickly from one room to another only flashing the pair a smile as he went. Tary was incredibly confused but he supposed he should also be grateful. If Vax had reacted in any other way it may have reinforced his own negative views on his sexuality. It might have worked against whatever Percy was trying to help him work towards. To be found out and, seemingly, accepted did a lot more for him than he could ever express and Tary found himself thinking that, perhaps, he could trust Vax. If nothing else the other already knew his biggest secret and had yet to do anything that would hurt or belittle him because of it.
He turned his attention back to Percy once more when the other began speaking and smiled a little, nodding in response. Yes, that more than answered his question. He was relieved to find that no one would be jealous. That relief, however, only remained until Percy gave him something new to worry about. He assumed the other was referring to something a little more than kissing in the privacy of the bedroom. It was obvious in the way that Percy made sure to tell him that he wasn't about to force anything, it was obvious in the gentle kiss that was pressed to his lips. He was being allowed to decide if this was what he wanted or if it was something he was ready for. "I..." He started before closing his mouth again and letting out a frustrated noise. "If we go into the bedroom would I still be able to ask you to stop if it's too overwhelming?" He was sure he knew the answer to that one before he'd even finished speaking. He just wanted to make sure before he agreed to anything.
