Percy laughed softly, the sound fond and not at all mocking. Tary really could be quite charming when he wasn't actually trying to be. From anyone else, that line would have been just that, a line. But from Tary, it was painfully genuine, and Percy felt himself drawn to that sincerity. It wasn't like he hadn't thought of Tary that way before. He had been completely serious when he'd said that he was flattered by the other man's crush on him. He liked Tary. He was a good friend. He was smart and funny and they had a great deal in common. And, for all his flaws, and he did have flaws, he was incredibly handsome.
"Really?" he said, giving Tary an interested smile, bringing a hand up to rest on the side of the blond's neck and pulling him closer. "Well then, I guess I'll just have to try again." Closing the distance, he kissed Taryon again, this time decidedly not chaste. He still started slow, not wanting to overwhelm Tary, but he allowed the kiss to heat up. After a moment, he deepened it, pressing his tongue into Tary's mouth and pulling him closer. The hand on his shoulder moved up to his hair and his other hand moved to rest on Tary's side.
Eventually, he pulled away, though not very far. "Was that more in line with what you had in mind?" he asked.
