The name filled her with rage. The sort of rage she hadn't felt in a long time. Her shoulders tensed up for a second and she nodded. "I understand," she said softly. "I don't like it but I understand it." She hated that he had to deal with that woman again. She hated that she couldn't do anything to help him with it worse.
She nodded. "That's fair," she said softly reaching up to run her hand over his hair. "Rest and peace and quiet are what you need. So many people here."
Cassandra closed her eyes at the kiss. "Don't you lie to me, Percival," she teased gently. "You will never be able to take a break from adventuring. You would get so bored that would kill you. Just be a bit more careful. That is all I ask. You're all I have left."
