You're not incompetent! Magic is so hit or miss. Esther used to make mistakes all the time. It's a process. And hey, nobody's a different species this time! That's a step in the right direction.

	She is not having a good time with this, no. I don't think she was expecting us to be alive, either, poor thing. I appreciate the vote of confidence, Monty, but the evidence is starting to coalesce and not in my favor. I imagine we made it this far thanks to Charles' intervention. 	I think she would enjoy that, honestly. She wasn't doing terribly at bonding with Charles, so she will listen to me to a certain extent, but someone who is how she expects him to be is probably a better option.
