How have things been with you, friend? Our accidental adoption has rather distracted me of late, but also made the matter of simulating night far more pressing, on a personal level. I did tell Bellara that I would go see about her work with the clocks, but I hadn't intended to take Calliope down to the lab with me. So performing the spell first would likely be the better option.

Nothing particularly surprising. Talk of our engagement, and then also a bit of strange speculation of our private affairs. It was Steve. The one who suggested the movie night.

What I will say is I hope they've found some peace, and we can seek an answer on that when they emerge again.

On the topic of Calliope, Bellara had the wonderful idea of seeing if she could start digging for worms on the green. Good for her to start using her instincts and maybe tire her out? For the sake of that quiet.

I think they'll be alright, once they have a chance to settle in and learn to relax a little.

We can do that. Maybe we'll try tomorrow, before you head off to visit Bellara.

Don't you even worry about it. I'm not upset at anything you've said, and I'm not looking to hide what we do or don't get up to. They don't need details, but I wasn't worried about you sharing any.

I do hope that road shortens for them however it can. I recall the stress of it. Learning to feel safe again. They don't deserve that.
