The Junkyard: IC Community

Hey, folks. Starting off with the good-in-hindsight news: the wiring in the old gym is not as much of a fire hazard as I worried it was! It was enough for me to steal one of those big vacuum cleaner things to get some of the gross out of the [...] gymnasium part? Basketball court? Swept it up a bit. Tried to make it smell a bit less like 'old gym' in there.

In the regular good news category: Since I know Steve-o's been getting healed up and not had time to get the movie together, I thought I'd offer an alternative to the date ni outing tonight in the form of a dance.

I've got the place and the music and the big bowls of punch. You can bring yourselves, maybe a light snack, and your dancing shoes 😊

I figured we'd have a little kind of class before things start so folks could learn a couple moves if they want, and maybe help the folks who want to look for a dance partner find one who's not gonna step all over their toes.

Uh Dress code is 'whatever's comfortable to dance', I guess? We're not going super fancy, or at least I don't think we are.

I'm gonna be there starting about 7:00 I think. And, uh, that's it?
