And a chapter closes, but the novel isn't finished.

I've been quiet because I needed some time to myself. Yesterday morning I went over to Terence's because we needed to talk. He basically told me that how I felt was one-sided, he doesn't want a relationship, but he also said that I wasn't his personal fleshlight either.
We sat and talked, likely the first real honest heart to heart talk we've ever had. I'm upset of course, a bit heartbroken but I can't force somebody else to have feelings for me. He's not a horrible guy deep down when it comes to it, because a horrible guy wouldn't care about my feelings walking out of there. A horrible guy wouldn't have stopped me from leaving to talk things out.
I'm not even angry at him about anything, I just feel foolish because I thought there was more there than what actually was there. That was my mistake for caring too much. I can't help that, I just need to be more careful the next time around and make sure we're both on the same page from the start so this doesn't happen to me again.
Somewhere out there has to be a wizard that is meant for me, right? It's just not Terence.
Now I have the weekend off and all I want to do is stay in my pajamas in bed and eat mass quantities of ice cream while watching muggle films.

I SOLD MY FIRST PAINTING!
Today has been a good day. And to make it even better the bakery just down the lane seems to be working overtime today and my room smells like cinnamon buns when I open my window.
I've been reading books lately about wizards in the past fighting off magical beats like yetis and manticores that would threaten the public and risk the exposure to muggles. It sounds like dangerous and perilous work....yet, exciting? I wonder what that sort of like would be like.

I had the most wonderful day at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens. I had somehow never had the chance to go and today Terence made sure to rectify that. It was so a great day. Though I am sure he might be done with me talking about plants for a few days.
