Issues with the old back injury this morning. I went to get out of bed to get a drink of water and didn't quite make it. Why does getting older have to suck so bad? I feel decrepit.
Live and breathe Quidditch, I said. Go professional, I said. I'd like to punch myself in the face right now. I could have followed a career path that wouldn't follow me afterward.
I'll be fine, it's just going to take me some time whinging and moaning about it first before I have to force through the pain and get the potion I need to get some relief.

I thought accusing people of treason without a trial was kind of a faux pas. Arresting the wrong people for this crime could be dangerous, couldn't it? I guess the king doesn't care about catching the people who really wanted to kill his son in favor of pushing an agenda. That's really sad.

In these trying times we all need a little bit of a good news to lift our spirits.
That being said, it is with great pride that I formally announce my engagement to Nyx Avery. There is never a more appropriate time to remind one another that true happiness exists than during a tumultuous time such as this. Nyx and I have had several years together and want to keep our engagement period brief so that we may officially welcome her into the Rosier family and begin our lives together. The wedding will take place on May 2 at a venue to be announced to our invited guests. Invitations will be sent out shortly.

I have to admit, it was disheartening to see a great team like the Falcons lose to the Harpies on Friday. I hope in the future they recover from this loss and continue to make this season a better one for their fans.
Additionally, it seems congratulations are in order for my cousin. Hector, we do wish you the best of luck in your forthcoming nuptials. Although they're a bit fast aren't they? Did you forget to charm like a commoner would?
