"You shouldn't feel the need to conform though," offered the girl as she followed him out of the store. "I know we live in a society that prefers it...even demanding it, but even still, being different can be good. To be normal is so overrated anyway. I think...people these days are either too scared to accept the new and different, or too stubborn to even try, and in the end, they never even realise just what they're missing by being so blinkered."
She gave him a little smile. "And for what it's worth, you're very nice. I mean...I should know, since we do rounds with each other and all. The people who overlook you would never know that they went and passed one of the most decent person they could ever meet. And..." The girl cleared her throat softly. "...I really should help you with some of those bags, since you're being so kind to me..."
